Aruba is just one of the many destinations on sale for Cyber Monday (Digital Vision)

Everyone knows about Black Friday. How could you not, with sales being advertised as soon as Halloween is put to bed? But Cyber Monday (November 26, this year) is nearly a household name, too, with online deals on everything from toys to blenders to shoes. And you can now add travel deals to that list, as hotels have jumped on the Cyber Monday bandwagon. Here are a few good deals we found.

Orbitz: Use the code CYBERORBITZ when you book a hotel through this online agency and receive 15 percent off through January 5, 2013.

Howard Johnson Hotels: HoJo’s message is to forget about both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and to say hello to Orange Wednesday, November 28. On that day, you can book at any of the 50 participating hotels in the U.S. and Canada for 50 percent off. You have to call the hotel directly on Orange Wednesday to book the rate.

New York City
The Maritime Hotel in West Chelsea is offering a 26 percent discount on room rates if you book between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. (Get it? Because Cyber Monday’s on the 26th…)

Affinia Hotels has nine properties in NYC, plus one in Washington, D.C. Book on Cyber Monday and get 10 percent off, plus a $50 “activity” credit that can be put toward things like an in-room massage. Use the code CYBER1.

Southwest, U.S.
The JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, is offering a flat rate of $99 per night to those who book a room for a stay by the end of 2012. Room rates during the holidays can skyrocket to $359 during this time, so this is a great deal for last-minute travelers this winter. To book, call 1-480-948-1700 on November 26 or 27 and use booking code ISPQ or ISPR, or book online with the code I24.

Stay in a suite for the price of a standard room at one of 12 Kimpton boutique hotels in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. That amounts to saving about 60 percent. Book with code 72SALE.

Colonial Williamsburg is offering a BoGo; book a night in a select suite and get a night free. To book, call 1-800-447-8679. It also has a buy one, get one free deal on annual passes, which allows for unlimited access to the Revolutionary City and Art Museums year-round, as well as discounts on walking tours, evening programs, and more. Use the code CYBER.

Budget is the number one barrier to visiting an island like St. Lucia. But the couples-only Rendezvous Resort is offering 50 percent savings (yep, you read that right) on Cyber Monday. There’s a four-night stay minimum, and the travel window is from December 26, 2012, through April 26, 2013 (extra props to them for not relegating deal-getters to the off-season). Call the resort at 1-800-544-2883 and use the code CYBER to book.

Marriott has a slew of promotions for the Caribbean and Mexico. At the Aruba Marriott Resort, you can buy two nights and get two nights free. Use code D52. The San Juan Marriott in Puerto Rico is offering 30 percent of all reservations through December 24 and again from April 10 through September 30. Use code D3Q. Spring break alert! Get a free room upgrade and a $50 resort credit at the JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. You must book a room for at least $179 per night and travel from February 16 to March 31. Use code D50.

This is just a sampling of the Cyber Monday travel deals out there. For more great hotels on board, check out this list on Fodor’s and this list on USA Today.
