In December, Away.com readers submitted their most inspirational travel photos of Winter Holiday Destinations. Seven finalists were selected and our followers rated the finalists' photos through the end of the month of December. With a final average rating of 3.8, the winning photo was of the world's first national park, Yellowstone National Park. Away.com reader Andrew Orr from Illinois submitted the photo. Andrew is the recipient of two round-trip flight vouchers courtesy of Away.com.
In Andrew's own words, "Yellowstone National Park is a breathtaking place to visit in the cold of winter. The hot springs of Mammoth erupts with clouds of steam making the trees that struggle to survive the harsh temperatures a beautiful and inspirational sight."
